“2015–2025: 10 years of fear and violated rights along migrant routes. What lies ahead?” is the international conference organized by the RiVolti ai Balcani network, on September 27–28, 2025.

Twenty-seven speakers from all over Europe will bring together their voices and expertise to recount what has happened along the Balkan Route over the past ten years and to analyze future perspectives on European migration policies.
Francesca Anichini will take part in the discussion on Saturday, September 27, at 10:00 a.m., sharing the archaeological perspective on contemporary migrations.
Her book, which recounts the passage of migrants through Lampedusa starting from the objects left behind, was published by Insegna del Giglio in 2024 and is available in Open Access on the publisher’s website:https://www.insegnadelgiglio.it/prodotto/tracce-in-movimento/
