The archaeological research was held in the summer of 2024 in Versilia (loc. Alpe della Grotta), in collaboration with the Forte dei Marmi Refuge. Investigating one of the dumps produced in the mountain area between the 1960s and 1980s, it returned a variety of finds that tell the story of the life, transformations and abandonment of these places.

The activity is proposed by the Courses of Modern and Contemporary Archaeology, and Archaeological Research Methodologies of the Department of Civilization and Forms of Knowledge of the University of Pisa.
