Welcome to the Machine (learning): a seminar on AI and archaeological practice
On Monday, April 20, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, in Room F1 of the San Rossore Campus, the seminar “Welcome to the Machine (learning) – AI Literacy for Archaeological Practice” will take place.
Gabriele Gattiglia and Nevio Dubbini (MAPPA Lab) will discuss with Marta Modolo (University of Milan) the topics of artificial intelligence applied to archaeology and new research perspectives. During the meeting, practical examples drawn from ongoing projects at the MAPPA Lab, including AUTOMATA and MAIA, will be presented, with the aim of demonstrating possible applications of AI in archaeological study and research.
